Proper alignment of your diaphragm and pelvic floor help to manage that intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) that is so important to allow for your PFM to work effectively and efficiently. Common postures that contribute to IAP management dysfunction are rib cage positions such as rib flare or upper abdominal gripping.
