Your hips are your pelvic floor! Think of your pelvis like a bowl. If we were to split the bowel into two, right and left parts, we would see the inside of your hips. Your deep core is meant to control your trunk and spine while you move your arms and legs. It also has many other jobs, at the same time. Controlling the pressure and contents of your organs is the job of your breathing muscle (diaphragm) and the hammock of your pelvic floor.

Learning to CONTROL and COORDINATE your breath, and stabilize your trunk and pelvis while moving your legs is one of THE BEST THINGS you can do to control your bowels.

Try this exercise series designed to teach your brain and core muscle to coordinate and control for better bowel health!
