A great rule of thumb to follow your physical body’s health are to stretch and move in ways that are not the daily “norm” for you. Using your arms (and relaxed shoulders) to walk a ball up and down or side to side, stretches the muslces of our arms, trunk and hips that tend to stay short and tight throughout our day to day tasks-such as sitting at a desk or computer. Opening these areas up allow for wonderful fluid flow to the areas that can get stagnant. Therefore this simple exercise can promte abdominal and pelvic health. Be awre of how it feels before, during and after. Stretches and exerecises that are right for you should leave you feeling better. Don’t forget to breathe throughout the entire movement.
