colorectal cancer awareness

Did you know? “Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in both men and women. One in 22 men and one in 24 women will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in their lifetime.”

Awareness is Key! If you are aware of your body’s day to day signals than you know what your “normal” feels like. Pay attention to any changes in your bowel health, eating habits, or weight changes. Better yet get screened! Listen to your medical team when they recommend it. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends screening for colorectal cancer screening starting at age 50 and continuing until age 75.”
